The Hue and Cry Collective is host to a plethora of exhibitions throughout the year in a wide variety of mediums and experiences. Proposed exhibitions may utilise single or multiple exhibition spaces. We invite established and emerging artists to exhibit innovative, new and commercial works of significance.

 

All applications will be considered upon entry by our curatorial team so please do not hesitate to apply.

2025 GALLERY PRICES

1/3 Gallery Space

• Window Gallery- $1100

• Gallery 2 and 3- $950

2/3 Gallery Space

• Window gallery and either gallery 2 or 3- $1850

• Gallery 2 AND 3- $1700

Whole Space- $2400

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

Submissions must include one or more of the following:

• Artwork that is innovative or shows technical skill in a given medium.

• Artwork that has strong commercial appeal.

• Artwork that is modern, contemporary and pushing at the edges of art.

• Artwork that offers critic and or insight into Australian discourse.

INCLUDED IN EXHIBITION FEE

• Experienced install technician. Specialist/complex installations may require the exhibitor to install

• Curatorial advice from our curatorial team

• Gallery invigilators for gallery opening hours

• Exhibition opening from 7-9pm on the first Saturday of the exhibition

• E-Newsletter promotion

• Online listing on both Instagram and Facebook

• Wall mounted artist statement and artwork listing.

• Gallery designed e-invites for artist distribution.

TO APPLY

Exhibition proposals must include the following to be considered,

• Up to 10 images of artworks indicative of those to be displayed (JPEG, clearly labelled, no single image larger than 500k).

• Artist statement/exhibition statement and description of artworks (no more than 1000 words).

• Your Curriculum Vitae (not applicable for first time artists).
