Week 1 - Documentation and Portfolio Preparation/Presentation

• Learn how to have a great relationship with your projects.
• Build knowledge on why documenting and journal writing is so important for your art practice.
• How to photograph your own work at a low cost
• How your portfolio should look for future jobs and applications.

Week 2 - Artist Biography, Artist Statements, Resumes + Grant and Gallery Applications.

• Learn about the differences between a bio and artist statement and layout of your art resume.
• You will also walk out with a written artist bio.
• Lucy will take you through the steps in how to approach, find and have examples of gallery and grant applications.
• Taking you through what you need for them and how to take it all one step at a time.

Week 3 - How to curate and install/de-install your own work.

• Learn about how to invoice, budget and price your own work +
• Lucy will lead you through a mini install.
• Where she will be helping you to build confidence in installing as well as touching on
• Curating and art handling.
